During an interview on the KNTV program Press:Here, Weili Dai answered questions from Host, Scott McGrew, Jon Fortt from CNBC and Sarah Lacy from TechCrunch about bringing companies together to develop affordable tablet computers for the students of the world. Weili explained that with OLPC, Marvell is focusing on a world wide effort to vastly expand education opportunities and, through that, help provide more opportunity for people to live more productive and rewarding lives. Weili helped explain that a tablet is a multi-purpose solution that includes, among other aspects, a more expansive viewing surface for educational videos and books that other tech gadgets simply do not have.
